Where have I been?

Hello lovelies!
It's definitely been a while since I've blogged, 8 months to be exact, but life has kind of been in the way and to be perfectly honest - blogging has just not been on my agenda.
However, I have quite a lot of time off this summer and I suddenly have the urge to blog again. I don't know how long it will last this time but we shall see.
So I thought I'd welcome myself back with a little update as I always do.
I haven't really blogged in 2016 so it feels like I have a lot to catch you up with but at the same time, nothing crazy has really happened.

I'm still living in Central London, I have a completely different job than the one I had at the beginning of the year, my job has its ups and downs, some of the ups being that I have made so many friends, I get to travel quite a lot around the UK (I'm staying in Leeds this weekend) and I get to work at some incredible venues!

What else has happened?
I recently got back from a trip to Lutry in Switzerland with some of my friends and it was the most beautiful place I've ever seen (expect a blog post soon!)
Earlier in the year I went up North to spend some time with my family including my grandparents which was so relaxing.
Other than that I feel like this year has just been a year of me exploring a little bit more, not so much in a travelling the world sense, but I feel a lot happier in myself as a person, I have great people around me, my anxiety is better than ever and I find myself doing things that I would never have dreamt of doing this time two years ago.

I'm going to try to get a lot of posts up over the next few weeks as I kinda just feel like writing and rambling, I don't know where it will go but I'm quite excited.
Stay tuned.

An update in pictures...

As I have mentioned, I've been super busy lately... I thought I'd compile a bunch of pictures into a post to show you all where I've been and what I've been getting up to.

Indian food with Chris . Exploring Selfridges and hunting down giant tubs of Nutella . Pinkberry . Walks in Hyde Park. Cycling in Hyde Park
Chocolate covered strawberry snacks. Partying with work friends. Hyde Park fun and taking boats on the river. Receiving flowers. Working at fun celebrity events.
Visiting home, spending quality time with my family.
Country walks at home. Goodbye cocktails and dinner for my friend leaving London.

And on top of all of that, me and Chris have moved into our own flat!
We finally made it happen and I'm so happy.
Post coming soon.
Hope you're all well!

Home Bound

Hello everyone!
Today is my blog's 4th year annivesary! YAY!
Thank you to everybody who has followed and supported my blog, new and old, I started this off as a place to vent and write down my thoughts, I didn't think it would still be keeping me entertained 4 years on.

So the past few days I've been visiting home, it was my niece's 6th birthday and of course we explored a bit, it's quite nice to get away from my hectic London life sometimes.
I filmed the time I was there and have compiled it into a video, so I hope toy enjoy it!
Have a lovely day.

Girl's Day at the Beach!

Hey, so as you know this month for me has been filled with adventures and fun, hence the lack of blogging.

So a couple of weeks ago my sister invited me on a much needed girls day at the beach!
We headed down south to the closest beach to us where we met a friend and her beautiful little daughter and we enjoyed the sun, ate ice cream and went on loads of rides!

It was a fun day and very nice to take a break for my very stressful mind.
We laughed lots and made sand castles like we were children. It was lovely.

A to Z of me, F is for...

F IS FOR: FAMILY

I couldn't possibly do a tag about my life without including the most important people in my life and the people who make me who I am, could I?

I have a big family, some of which I don't even know exist, they're all over the world too.
But my immediate family, which includes my Mom, my 4 older sister's and their children are my everything.
I'm proud to have came from a pretty close knit family, my sister's and I are all two years apart, making us all able to pretty much enjoy the same things and all get along really well (when they're not stealing my clothes that is)!
Of course we fight and argue and there have been physical fights in the past too, but I think we're a lot closer than most families and I know that if I ever needed anything they'd all be there.

As for my nieces and nephews, they're the people that keep me smiling even on the worst days, I have so much love for them and I care about them stupid amounts. I love seeing them grow older and develop their own little personalities.

As for my Mom, she holds it all together, she raised us all to be strong and independent, I don't give her enough credit considering how tough it must have been to raise 5 very opinionated girls, but she did a great job!

I'll insert a few family pictures below :)

All my nieces and nephews minus one!

 All of my sister's!

Family time!

As you probably know I live 150 miles away from the majority of my family, but when there's an occasion such as birthdays I always make the effort to take a trip home. I've been quite busy the past few months so I hadn't seen my family in 4 months but a few days ago my gorgeous nephew turned 1 and I decided it was time to visit :)
Here's a few pictures from the trip, mostly of my gorgeous nieces and nephews :)

All of my sister's :)

Here comes the Bride!

I love weddings!
I love the happy atmosphere, I love getting dressed up, I love seeing how beautiful the Bride looks, I love the amount of food and drink provided, I love seeing people I haven't seen for a while, I just love weddings in general, everything about them.
So when Chris and I got invited to his cousins wedding I could not wait.
Luckily yesterday, the sun was beaming which only made the setting even more perfect.

We headed to Greenwich for the actual wedding and champagne reception, then went to a huge Chinese restaurant that they had hired for even more food and drinks, it was lovely!

thank you thank you thank you!

that's me by the way.
i feel like i never show pictures of myself on here so you probably don't even know what i look like (and i've decided to be a bit vein!)
so, i just wanted to give a big apology for how rubbish i've been lately, i've had a bit of a crap time lately and i'm sorry for boring you all to death with how depressed i am.
i also want to give a BIG FAT thank you to all the supportive and lovely comments off you!
i really do appreciate every single one of them :)
while i'm here and in a better mood then i have been lately i may as well give you the scoop of what's been going on lately (i'll try to cut out a lot of the crappy stuff).
sixth form: rubbish as always, applying for uni though next week, finally narrowed down my five choices to - winchester, northampton, middlesex, de montford and edge hill.
scary times. i've also stopped doing ict as a full A level as i'm failing badly, so now i only do the AS year, it sucks but it's better than having no grade at all i suppose.
dan: me and dan are up and down and you may have guessed but at the moment we're quite good, tomorrow he's off to snowdown on a 200 mile bike ride to raise money for water aid!
so i'm very proud of him but very scared and i'm going to miss him loads.
life in general: my nephew is one tomorrow so my siser is down from london, so it'll be nice to have all my sisters together for a bit tomorrow :)
my great grandad passed away on thursday after being really poorly so that's kinda added to my rubbish mood also.
i've been spending a bit more times with friends lately which has been nice :)
i haven't worked much lately as i mainly do seasonal work, but i'm really excited to work halloween as well as going to my sisters halloween party :D
bit of a long post to make up for my lack of them lately.
i'll try to be a bit cheerier on here from now on :)
hopefully i'll get blogging more soon too!
hope everyone is also good! and thank you again for all your lovely comments :)

EDIT: seems like blogspot doesn't believe in paragraphs.
i did use paragraphs but this stupid site also decideds to mess with my layout!

wedding bells!

only a short post because i'm off out soon, but on saturday all the family got together for the wedding of my auntie julie, it was a small wedding but still lovely. i love it when all the family get together and events such as this, everybody is always so happy and cheery and it's just so nice.

my family are a bit crazy there was a small fight not long in to the party and as soon as the bride came out of the car a wasp decided to sit on her head. but other than those minor incidents in was a lovely day and everybody (most people) did look lovely :)

here are just a few pictures of the day :)
