My Thoughts on Living in London (Part 3)

Why I love London.
I realise my past two posts, here and here, have been quite negative views on London. Don't get me wrong, I could rant all day about the place. But I wouldn't be living here unless I loved it. So today I thought I'd cheer up and write about why I love London.

The culture. How everybody has a different story. The food selection. Never seeing anybody you know. Everyday being completely different. Always having something to do. The shopping. The fashion. The accent. The buildings. 24 hour public transport. The lifestyle. The nightlife. Discovering new places.

I'm thinking and planning on doing a London series soon on here, like my favourite places to visit and things like that, so if you're interested in seeing that let me know.
Have a great day :)

My Thoughts on Living in London (Part 2)

Why such a lack of manners?
The second part of this feature (yes, I'm making it a feature - it won't all be rants, I promise) is going to be about a big pet peeve of mine, manners.
Why don't Londoners have manners?! Don't get me wrong this isn't aimed at everybody who lives here, but unfortunately a huge percentage.
Coming from a small town where people greet you in the morning and queue to get on the bus, the post shocking revelation when I first moved to London was how rude a lot of people are!

If you've ever visited London from outside of London you will probably know this. I'll be walking around and be barged several times without acknowledgment let a lone an apology, men will barge past me to get on the train first, I literally don't understand it.
Drawing for my previous rant, I understand London is sometimes not a nice place to be, but please try to make it a little better for those you have to face day to day.

I understand that everybody has bad days, some have terrible days, on those days especially you do not want to be faced with a busy London train station or a bus full of people, but someone may just be in the boat as you are and that being said, try to be a little nicer, we need more nice people in the world.

A to Z of me, F is for...

F IS FOR: FAMILY

I couldn't possibly do a tag about my life without including the most important people in my life and the people who make me who I am, could I?

I have a big family, some of which I don't even know exist, they're all over the world too.
But my immediate family, which includes my Mom, my 4 older sister's and their children are my everything.
I'm proud to have came from a pretty close knit family, my sister's and I are all two years apart, making us all able to pretty much enjoy the same things and all get along really well (when they're not stealing my clothes that is)!
Of course we fight and argue and there have been physical fights in the past too, but I think we're a lot closer than most families and I know that if I ever needed anything they'd all be there.

As for my nieces and nephews, they're the people that keep me smiling even on the worst days, I have so much love for them and I care about them stupid amounts. I love seeing them grow older and develop their own little personalities.

As for my Mom, she holds it all together, she raised us all to be strong and independent, I don't give her enough credit considering how tough it must have been to raise 5 very opinionated girls, but she did a great job!

I'll insert a few family pictures below :)

All my nieces and nephews minus one!

 All of my sister's!

July goals...

Another month, another set of goals to strive towards.
This month has already started off on a bad foot, today I found out that my place of work has actually been closed down, therefore leaving me jobless. I may make a post about all of this, but for now, rather than dwelling I'm just going to focus on getting back on my feet and sorting out a new path and a new job, which brings me to my first goal:

- Find a full time job that I enjoy!
- Try to figure out what I want in life and where I want to be in life
- Think of small steps to get me where I want to be and start to achieve my goals
- Maintain both Blogs and blog as often as possible

So a short and sweet list today, and all around a similar topic which I will start writing a blog post about as soon as I finish this one so stay tuned.
And while you wait feel free to check out my last month's goals here!

A-Z of me, E is for...

E IS FOR: ENGLAND

E was a tough one actually, but I gathered one of the biggest parts of my life is the place I live right?

I've lived in England my whole life, I grew up in a small town in the countryside, I never really appreciated it until I moved to a city, but the endless fields, lakes and forests make for a great childhood. Making 'dens' and tree houses and walking down the street and feeding the horses in the fields. It was actually quite lovely.

Then I moved to London, it was a different lifestyle, different people and a completely different environment, but I loved it. I love that everyone is always in a hurry, I love the anonymity, I love seeing something new every single day, and as of right now I love living here. (Of course I still love to visit home every now and again too, I like the balance!)

So yes, England. Full of both beautiful countryside and crowded cities, both of which I'm lucky to get to take advantage of. As much as I might moan about it, I could never imagine living anywhere else. It really is a beautiful country.

June goals...

It's that time of the month again, time for my monthly goals!
There's something so satisfying about going back and marking off what you've achieved that month. I like to keep my lists nice and short so I'm not overwhelmed with things I want to achieve, because I feel like the longer the list the less motivated I am to get through it.

So here are my goals for the month ahead...

- Do 30 minutes of cardio every day
- Drink less alcohol, or opt for a healthier beverage e.g. vodka and soda over a cocktail
- Make the most of the sunshine
- Try to eat slightly better
- Update my beauty blog more!
- Say yes more!

You can check out my april goals here and my may goals here if you're interested in my what I've achieved the past months.

Do you have any goals for June?

A-Z of me, D is for...

D IS FOR: DISLIKES

Obviously the things you like and dislike say a lot about the kind of person you are and you're personality. So it's only right that for this letter I tell you all about a few things I dislike :)

Salad and vegetables, needles, seafood, coffee, lack of manners, racism, ignorance, bad smells, being told off, sleeping alone, being cold, being woken up, the justice system, badly drawn on eyebrows, small minded people, creamy alcohol, bacon, bad nails, blood, tv soaps, bad customer service, rude people, nosey people.

That's just a few, but you get the gist.

A-Z of me, C is for...

C IS FOR: CHRIS

Of course this one had to go to my best friend and boyfriend, Chris.
After almost two years of seeing together we're still completely in our honeymoon phase.
We don't argue, we miss each other seconds after the other one leaves and we are very much in love!
He is probably the most patient and caring person I've ever met.
He puts up with my moaning, my complaints, my messiness, everything without complaining.
He is a complete gentleman and treats me like an absolute princess, whether it's taking me on date nights and always paying, to opening the car door for me, to massaging my legs after a long night at work, to cooking whatever I fancy eating everyday.
He is truly the most amazing person I've ever met and I couldn't be happier.
He is the kindest, funniest, smartest, loveliest person I know and I can't wait to spend many more years with him.

A-Z of me, B is for...

B IS FOR: BLOG

Of course my Blog is a huge part of who I am, it's where I've came to express myself for the past 4 years. I originally started my Blog as a diary style thing, therefore it includes a lot of personal things that I've contemplated deleting massively, but it's a part of me and my past and a part of growing up.
Now I just write things that interest me and that hopefully interest others, I don't have a huge following on here but it's something I enjoy doing nonetheless.
I like to express my thoughts and opinions, talk about things I like and dislike and document parts of my life.

It's a fun place to go and I thoroughly enjoy reading other peoples Blogs in my spare time also.

I've wrote about the good and the bad on here and I enjoy going back and watching myself grow up a little bit, so that is why this is a part of my life :)

A-Z of me, A is for...

A IS FOR: ANIMALS
If you know me at all you will know that I am pretty much obsessed with animals.
I can spend hours of my time on Wikipedia or Youtube looking at wild animals and finding out about different animals.
But the 2 animals I am especially obsessed with are cats and dogs.
If you'd have asked me this time last year which I prefer out of cats and dogs, I would have answered dogs, no questions asked. I used to really dislike cats, not only was I massively allergic to them, but we never really had them as children and when I would go over to a friends house and they would have cats, their cats would be smelly and horrible.

I have always been a crazy, dog person though. I have had many dogs before and they really are the best animal.
However, since moving in with my boyfriend, and having to put up with his kitten, I can now fully say, I am a crazy cat person.
(even though I have to be on several allergy tablets daily)
Ideally I would have a dog too but I'm going to wait for a bit first.
In the mean time I only have one cat, who I am pretty much obsessed with, Bitty.

Here is a picture of her spitting her tongue out.
