It´s been a while...

Hello guys!
Long time no blog!
Seriously, it´s been almost a year, how crazy is that.
I have been fairly busy, that´s not really my excuse, it´s more that I haven´t had anywhere to blog from, I no longer have my computer, my Kindle broke and I never want to blog from my phone. Hopefully in the new year I will invest in a laptop but in the meantime I have had a lot going on and I felt like writing another chatty blog post as a little catch up.

Okay, so I haven´t blogged since March. It feels like I´m catching up with an old friend who I haven´t seen in a while.
Lets start with the boring stuff.

WORK
In my previous post I mentioned a new exciting job that I had recently got. I started that job at the beginning of February and worked there until the end of November. I met so many amazing people there that will be life long friends, I learnt a lot through my experience there and had a lot of great times, however towards the end I really started to be unhappy and made the decision to leave.
A few weeks ago however I began ANOTHER new job! A job that will hopefully present me with a lot of opportunities and I´m very excited about the future.

RELATIONSHIPS
Also in February I came out of my three year relationship. Although we ended everything on fairly good terms it was a very difficult few months. We were living together and at that time life was very hectic and stressful. I have since then got a new boyfriend who I am very happy with and on good terms still with my ex boyfriend.

LIFE
So other than going through a lot of drastic changes this year I have also done quite a bit, I made it my mission this year to see more of London, after a horrible 2014 of suffering with terrible anxiety I would very much stay in my comfort zone and only really visit the places I knew. This year I have seen so much more and really started to enjoy living in London again.
I also visited Paris this year for the first time, I went to Disneyland and lots of great things, that was definitely a highlight of 2015.
I made a few beach trips in the UK throughout the summer also.

In general it´s been a bit of a crazy year, and I´m really hoping 2016 will be a lot more relaxed and steady so I can just enjoy all of the great things that come with it.
I will try my best to get back into blogging. Watch this space.
Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and hopefully a better new year!

Update...

Hi everyone!
Firstly I just want to say I'm really sorry for the lack of blog posts lately... Will kind of explain why in a minute and secondly I was t to point out that the past month or so my blog followers have doubled! How crazy! Thank you all for reading my blog, New and old I appreciate every follow, every comment, every liked post! So thank you so much!

Today I'm not at home so I'm writing this on my Kindle and just wanted to blog and talk about a few things going on lately. I like to do these posts sometimes to just ramble on about things that don't really have a point to them, so here goes.

So the main reason for my lack of blog posts the past couple of weeks is due to me not being at home, I've had a few home issues lately which I won't delve into but me and Chris are currently not staying there and may not be for a while, so sorry about my lack of blogging!

Now that's out the way I'll talk about what's coming up lately, the obvious factor is that it's just over a week till Christmas!! How crazily quick has that come round?! This is definitely my favourite time of year! It's just been made even more exciting at the fact that today me and Chris decided to go home for Christmas! (My home that is, which is 150 miles up north of London in the countryside). We had planned to spend Christmas just me, Chris and my sister, Chris was gonna cook while we get drunk and watch Christmas films all day. The thought of going home hadn't even came up for some reason but today we suggested it and decided to, so I'm very excited!

Another exciting thing is that we are currently looking for our own flat! We've lived at his parents house for over a year now and it's not exactly ideal for us, I enjoy my own space and making everything homely and I can't really do that in my boyfriend's parents house, so we are looking to move and hopefully this time next month we will have our own space.

Ooh, almost forgot! Yesterday I became a godmother! How amazing is that! Chris' brother had a baby a few months ago and yesterday he was christened and we are the godparents! How lovely :)

Also! My beauty blog is currently nearly at 300 followers which is very exciting, knowing you all enjoy reading it and giving feedback is great!

That's about it really, hopefully lots of exciting new years related posts coming soon, hope everyone is good and enjoying the Christmas season!
Speak to you soon!

Happy October!

Hi guys!
So I know this isn't my usual start to a blog post at the start of the month but I've been away for the past 10 days in Marbella. If you've been reading my blog lately you'll probably guess that life has been more hectic than usual lately and I haven't had chance to really blog as much as I'd like.

Saying that, I've had a gorgeous break in 34 degree heat and now I'm home I'm looking forward to getting into more organised routines blog wise and life wise, so stick around for plenty of posts on here and my beauty blog, as my head is FINALLY full of inspiration and ideas for posts!

I think seasons changing definitley is good for my head and creative side, I'd been struggling a lot the past couple of months on what to blog about, but since being home my mind is full of ideas for both blogs and I'm excited to get back into it.

So it's October, how fast has this year gone?! Seriously.
It feels like just a couple of months ago I was playing in the snow, exploring Covent Garden with my hot chocolate looking at the Christmas Trees, having fun in Winter Wonderland Hyde Park, pre heating my room with my heater every time I'd go out so I'd come home to a hot room.

As much as I am completely and utterly a summer person, I adore Autumn and Winter.
I love candles and fire places, and scarves and gloves and snow, and all the holidays and just everything and I'm excited to do plenty of fun Autumn/Winter related posts!

So apologies for a completely no point, rambly blog post, just know to stick around for a much better blog to read and I hope you all have a lovely Autumn and Winter!

Catch up

Hi!
So I know I've been a pretty terrible blogger recently, not only have I been super busy, but my mind has hit a bit of a block in terms of blogging. That being said I have the evening free (for once) and just thought I'd do a bit of a rambling catch up, because a rambling post is better than no posts at all.

So, where to start... I've been exhausted lately. I feel like I always want to be doing things or I'll get bored but at the same time when I am super busy I miss having 'me time'. I miss pamper nights where I have plenty of spare time to catch up on YouTube videos and blogs and I can do as I please. Those nights are becoming less frequent lately.

So what has been so time consuming?

Well Chris' shop opened recently so we've been helping out with that a bit, I've also been working here and there for his parents, as well as family visiting, plenty of birthdays, and joining the gym.
I've been trying to squeeze the gym into my day to day life, which is proving quite difficult.

Tomorrow I'm off home to visit my family for my nieces second birthday.
I don't go home too often and I love it. I love seeing how much my nieces and nephews have grown up and catching up with my mom and sisters.
As much as I do enjoy those trips, it is so exhausting!
I can normally only go for 2-3 days at a time and its 3 and a half hours travelling there and back as well as cramming in visits to as many people as possible!

On another note, Chris' sister has booked a holiday for us to visit her in Marbella (where she lives) so I'll get a much needed 10 day break in Spain next month which is exciting!
(I say break, we've already planned tonnes of activities to do out there)

That's about it really, sorry for the topic-less post, I just felt like blogging and writing something.
I'll be back in full swing soon enough, I'm sure.

Hope you're all well :)

Decisions...

Ever since I remember I've been indecisive, I know I want things I just don't exactly know out I want. I know I'm hungry but I don't know what it is I want to eat. I know I'm bored and wanna go out and do something, I just don't know what I want to do.

However, this also applies with my career choices and my ultimate life plans.
If you have been reading my blog for a while you will know that when it came to going to sixth form I choose subjects I liked and found easy rather than thinking about my future career and what I needed to get there. When it came to deciding what I wanted to do at university I choose something again that I found would be easy for me.

It didn't take long at uni for me to then realise that everybody on my course was there for different reasons than I was... everybody was passionate about it, everybody had dreams of doing that subject for years and already had their dream jobs in mind, whereas I just choose it because it felt like I had to quickly make a decision I wasn't even prepared to make.

Of course, I quickly dropped out of uni.
Everybody around me still tells me this was a bad decision.
But why would I waste my time doing a course I didn't even really wanna do? Studying something I had no intentions of spending the rest of my life doing?

Once I dropped out I stayed in London and got a job at a cocktail bar, met some of the greatest people ever and made some great memories, I loved it.
But I knew I didn't want to be there for the rest of my life (obviously)!

This brings me to today, today I woke up and got a phone call saying that the bar I worked at has been closed down.
Of course many sad thoughts have been running through my head, but I also instantly felt pressured to make yet another decision to get a new job.

I want a job that I love and that I can hopefully gain a career out of.
And now I face the ultimate decision, what do I want to do in life? Where can I see myself years down the line? And how do I get there?

It's scary to just make a decision that can affect your life so much, but I think today has presented that opportunity to me completely.
It's time to stop with all the part time jobs and figure out a real job.
I need to look at my options and see what I really want in life and what it's going to take for my to get there.
Once I've decided, if it means starting at the very bottom of a job, I will do it. If it means going back to education I'll do it.

I just need some time to make this huge decision that most people have always known about themselves and that I have never known.

I'm sure I'll find the answer in time.
