So I don't know about you, but it is always a resolution of mine to read more. Lately I've definitely been into Thriller/Mystery type of books, and I've read a quite a few in the past couple of months, 3 in particular have completely stood out to me and I wanted to share them with you if you were looking to buy some new books.
Look Behind You, is kind of a creepy one, but more so creepy in the fact that you would never want it to happen to you. It's about a girl that wakes up from being buried alive, the finally escapes and gets home to tell the police and her husband, but nobody believes her.
It took me less than a week to finish and I would highly recommend it if you're in to a good mystery novel.
One of the only books along with Dark Places, that genuinely freaked me out. The characters are so well written, it's quite a dark story so be warned. But if you're not easily scared of grossed out then I would highly recommend it. A brilliant story that will grip you from the start.
The best till last... I finished Gone Girl which was raved about a lot! And straight away went to read Gillian Flynn's other two novels, and this one was definitely the darkest, yet the best of the three. Definitely terrifying at times, but a great story at the same time. It's also being made into a film starring Charlize Theron next year which I cannot wait for!
I haven't read any of those books. I'll put them in my to-read list =)
